FREQ. Questions
How far in advance do I need to order?
For celebration cakes, at least 2 weeks' notice is needed. For wedding cakes and large bespoke orders, 6–8 weeks is ideal — especially during peak season (April–September).
Do you make bespoke wedding cakes?
Yes — bespoke wedding cakes are one of our specialities. I work with you from initial consultation through to delivery on the day. Fill in the order form and we'll take it from there.
Do you deliver across West Yorkshire?
Yes — I deliver to Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate, Wakefield, Huddersfield and surrounding areas. Delivery is priced by distance. See the delivery page for full details.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Many items can be made gluten-free or dairy-free on request. I cannot guarantee a nut-free kitchen. Please see the allergen information page and let me know your requirements when ordering.
How do I pay?
A 25% deposit is required to secure your date, with the balance due 7 days before collection or delivery. I accept bank transfer.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes — collection from my Leeds kitchen is always an option and incurs no extra charge. I'll confirm the address once your order is confirmed.
Do you ship nationally?
At present I only deliver within West Yorkshire. Iced biscuit boxes can sometimes be shipped — please enquire.
Can I see designs/flavour samples before committing?
For wedding cake enquiries I offer a tasting consultation (chargeable, redeemable against your order). For celebration cakes, flavour samples can be arranged for larger orders.
What if I need to cancel?
Deposits are non-refundable within 14 days of the event date. For cancellations made with more than 14 days' notice, deposits may be transferred to a future order at my discretion.
